Registered Nurse - Med/Tele Unit

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 and 48 hours available per week. 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Med/Tele Unit, which comprises 40 beds. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in acute medical surgical and telemetry nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC charting software.
• Flexibility to float to other units and work in charge roles as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent experience in acute med/surg/tele.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
