Registered Nurse - Med Surg Float Pool

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12 hour shifts with a rotation between 7P-7A and 7A-7P. Must work 36 hours per week, including at least 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Holiday work is required as part of the contract.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be part of the Med Surg Float Pool, providing care across various Med Surg Telemetry units and the South East Tower. The nurse must be flexible and willing to float to other units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in Med Surg Tele units.
• Float to assigned units as required by the facility.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EPIC system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in acute med surg/tele in a hospital.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
