Registered Nurse - Med Surg Float Pool (Evenings)

Schedule

This position offers a 12-hour evening shift from 3 PM to 3 AM or 3 AM to 3 PM, with an evening rotation. The role requires availability for 36 hours per week, including either 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend, with a commitment to work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be part of the Med Surg Float Pool, with responsibilities that include floating between all Med Surg Tele units and the South East Tower as needed. Flexibility according to the needs of the facility's schedule is essential, and block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in acute med surg/tele within a hospital setting.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
