Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Job Description

The registered nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with various conditions, including traumatic brain injuries and orthopedic injuries. The nurse will be responsible for administering medications, managing intravenous lines, and ensuring patient safety through rigorous protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer heparin drips and manage blood product administration.
• Perform phlebotomy and manage both central and peripheral lines.
• Provide care for colostomies and feeding tubes.
• Monitor and manage patients with dysrhythmias and neurological injuries.
• Document patient care accurately in the Epic system.
• Maintain isolation precautions and adhere to safety protocols.
• Assess and respond to changes in patient conditions effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience within the last 5 years.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Epic documentation experience required.
