Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), requiring every other weekend availability.

Job Description

The Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide specialized care to patients within the neurology unit. This role involves floating between units as necessary and requires proficient skills in managing post-surgical neurology patients and various neurological diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Manage telemetry patients with neurological conditions.
• Utilize the NIH stroke scale effectively.
• Caring for post-operative neurosurgery patients.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a Neurology setting preferred.
• Current nursing license and certification (ACLS, BLS, NIHSS).
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
