Night shift - 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30). Required to work all scheduled shifts.

Job Description

This position involves providing nursing care as an RN in the MS Tele Float pool, which supports various acute care and telemetry units. Nurses are expected to demonstrate proficiency in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and be familiar with peripheral nerve catheters, particularly in orthopedic settings.

Responsibilities

• Float between all acute care and telemetry units, including specialty areas such as Behavioral Health and Respite.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, including adults and geriatrics with various conditions, including stroke and cardiac issues.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills by effectively splitting 12-hour shifts between different areas as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or acute care setting.
• Active RN license.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required.
• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is essential.
• Must pass a fill-in-the-blank tele test at orientation.
