Telemetry Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule from 18:45 to 07:15, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Intermediate Intensive Care Unit team. The unit provides care to patients with diverse medical and surgical needs, particularly in cardiac, renal, and trauma disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients via telemetry for dysrhythmias and vital signs.
• Administer medications, including vasoactive and titrated IV medications.
• Provide non-invasive airway management and manage peripheral line care.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and interventions for a variety of conditions.
• Participate in cardiac procedures, including cardioversion and post-cardiac cath care.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and provide education to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Recent experience with blood product administration and dysrhythmia management is essential.
• 1st time travelers are not accepted; travelers must have a proven background in similar roles.
