Registered Nurse - Flex RN Float

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The position requires 12-hour day shifts from 0645 to 1915, scheduled for 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. There is no guarantee of hours.

Job Description

The Flex RN will float between various medical and surgical units, adapting to the needs of the hospital. The candidate must possess a Hawaii nursing license by the start of the assignment. Medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in medical, surgical, and cardiovascular units.
• Administer medications and manage patient treatments as directed.
• Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize Meditech EMR and Pyxis systems for patient management.
• Participate in training and orientation programs for various departments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 to 10 years of nursing experience is preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC preferred.
• Active Hawaii nursing license required by the start of the assignment.
