Respiratory Therapist - 13-Week Contract - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position with a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including rotating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments including nebulizers and oxygen therapy.
• Monitor and manage ventilator settings and adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Conduct patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory therapy and equipment usage.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Preferred experience in an intensive care unit (ICU) setting.
