3x12 hour shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (07:00 - 19:30) with holiday rotation.

Job Description

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the sterilization, decontamination, assembly, and wrapping of surgical instruments and equipment. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced, clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper sterilization, decontamination, and assembly of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and quality control.
• Assist in inventory management of sterile supplies.
• Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for infection control.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure availability of sterile instruments for surgical procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing.
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience is required.
• National certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA.
• Experience with sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrapping of surgical instrumentation in various specialties, including neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, transplant, and gynecology.
