Night Shift Med/Surg Registered Nurse

Schedule

This position requires working 12 nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, totaling 36 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a night shift role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical nursing and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care. This is a predetermined opportunity specifically for a selected candidate.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments.
• Utilize best practices to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 3 years of current Med/Surg experience is required.
• ICU experience is highly preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly preferred.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• All licenses and certifications must be current at the time of submission.
