Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our telemetry unit specializing in cardiac care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing generalized cardiac patients and possess familiarity with essential cardiac care equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions with a focus on cardiac health.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care using Cerner EHR.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
• Occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical areas as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or cardiac unit.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with Life Paks, Zoll, and Masimo equipment.
• Proficient with Cerner electronic health record system.
