Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract position, offering nights and a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate will have experience in adult inpatient care, including adult ICU, adult ED, and general pediatric settings. No NICU or PICU experience is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to patients in various settings.
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory needs and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
• Document patient care and progress accurately.

Schedule

This position requires a night shift, with weekend availability as needed. Flexibility in scheduling is a must, and there will be no on-call requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRT) will not be accepted.
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and AHA PALS certifications are required.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience is necessary, with prior travel experience preferred.
• Teaching hospital experience is required.
• Epic electronic medical records experience within the past 2 years is non-negotiable.
• All specialties worked must be well documented in the candidate's employment history.
