Nights - 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care for patients in various settings, including adults, infants, and children requiring critical care. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an ICU and ER, and familiarity with treating pediatric patients needing intubation and mechanical ventilation.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care for adult critical care, NICU, and PICU patients.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and participate as a member of the resuscitation team.
• Utilize and maintain respiratory equipment effectively, including Drager V500 and Hamilton T-1 ventilators.
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC documentation system.
• Float to various areas throughout the hospital as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care setting.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Current certifications in NRP, BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Experience working in a nursery and with pediatric patients in an ER setting.
• Strong assessment skills and familiarity with relevant respiratory equipment.
