Night Shift - 3x12 Hours, rotating shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

We are seeking a Level IV NICU trained Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of two years of NICU experience and willingness to work in adult floors and ICU settings. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with high-acuity patients and possess skills in special respiratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in the NICU as well as adult critical care settings.
• Utilize advanced ventilatory support, including Servo U and Hamilton C-1 ventilators.
• Administer therapeutic modalities like CPAP, BIPAP, and aerosol treatments.
• Perform diagnostic tests including arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and neonatal transports.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient respiratory needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid Washington State Respiratory license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS are required.
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience and familiarity with ventilators like NAVA, high-frequency oscillators, or jet ventilators is preferred.
• Epic charting experience is required.
