Job Description

The facility is seeking a skilled OR Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in Neuro to circulate various surgical cases. The ideal candidate must be willing to circulate all specialties including cardiac and transplant cases, and should possess advanced skills in neuro, spinal, thoracic, and vascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Circulate all cases, specifically focusing on cardiac and transplant surgeries.
• Prepare and set up operating rooms for surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide direct patient care.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes or emergencies during surgery.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a current license.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in an OR setting, specifically with neuro, cardiac, and transplant surgeries.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is essential.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
