3x12-Hour Night Shift (19:00 - 07:00) with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Stepdown RN to provide quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with healthcare teams to meet patient needs effectively. This role involves working night shifts with a holiday rotation and requires ICU and/or Stepdown experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform duties associated with medical and surgical care of patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in the training and orientation of new staff and nursing students.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two years of RN experience in ICU and/or Stepdown settings.
• Current SC RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; NIHSS preferred.
