Registered Nurse - Surgical Medical/Surgical

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (7A - 7:30P) with 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed. Banner is allowed to cancel one shift.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in the Surgical Medical/Surgical department, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes. Candidates must be adept in fast-paced surgical environments and demonstrate exceptional critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a surgical setting.
• Assist with medical procedures and interventions.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of Med/Surg experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Life support certifications (BLS and ACLS) from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Active RN license verified in the last 30 days.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
• Driver’s license to verify residency.
