Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours from 7 PM to 7 AM, every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) to provide patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing patients with cardiac and surgical conditions, and will be comfortable working with a variety of telemetry monitoring systems. Epic experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry; manage care for patients with dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Support and educate patients and their families regarding healthcare needs.
• Perform required nursing procedures and maintain a safe environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience.
• Active RN license in South Carolina or multi-state/compact license.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required; NIHSS preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
