7 PM - 7 AM, with scheduling requirements of every third weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a Level 2 trauma center. The ideal candidate will excel in delivering trauma care, STEMI care, stroke care, sepsis management, and triage.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Perform all procedures associated with a Level 2 trauma center.
• Utilize advanced trauma assessment skills and knowledge to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Implement patient experience best practices, including AIDET and use of whiteboards.
• Maintain a positive attitude and foster a collaborative team culture.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Emergency/Trauma nurse in a Level 2 trauma center.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC, NIH.
• Preferred: CEN or TCRN certification.
• Advanced skills in trauma care, STEMI care, stroke care, sepsis management, and triage.
