Schedule

Shift: Days, from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM. Weekend hours required every other weekend or as needed. Call requirements include six shifts per month, with at least one weekend shift.

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our dedicated Surgery Unit team. The role involves providing exceptional nursing care to patients across all age groups undergoing surgical procedures. The RN will work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care in a surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in the surgical unit.
• Assist in preoperative and postoperative care.
• Cooridnate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Document patient care activities in the electronic health record (EHR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have an active RN license in North Carolina.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC/MAB.
• 1-2 years of nursing experience in a surgical or operating room setting is preferred.
