Contract - Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 (Nights, rotating weekends)

Job Description

The Emergency Department is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality medical care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be prepared to handle a variety of patient needs and emergencies while working collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, and implementing patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Performing critical procedures including lumbar punctures, intubations, and laceration repairs.
• Monitoring patient status and adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Maintaining accurate and complete patient records using EMR systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license and certifications including BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC (must have by start date).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting is preferred.
• Strong ability to work as part of a team and anticipate the needs of patients and the department.
