Contract Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM. Nights and weekends rotate.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating exceptional teamwork and patient advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and perform necessary procedures, including LP, Intubations, TNK, lac repairs, suture removals, and splinting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR Meditech.
• Anticipate the needs of patients and the department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess TNCC certification by start date.
• Must possess ENPC certification by start date.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Greater than 2 years of experience is preferred.
