Schedule

Night shifts, 4x10-hour schedule (20:00 - 06:30), with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Bed Placement RN Coordinator will function in the Admit/Transfer Center. This position is focused on managing intake, bed control, and transfers, ensuring effective bed placement processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the intake and transfer process.
• Manage bed control and ensure appropriate bed placements.
• Work closely with the House Supervisor to facilitate patient transitions.
• Implement organizational escalation processes for facility needs.
• Ensure adherence to emergency preparedness and crisis management protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a current WA RN License.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a house supervisor or in a transfer center.
• Experience with patient care areas including ICU, Emergency Department, and Inpatient Acute Care.
• Familiarity with the Epic charting system is required.
