Job Description

The ED RRT position requires a dedicated individual with expertise in providing respiratory care in an Emergency Department setting. The successful candidate will manage and evaluate patients with respiratory issues, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in a high-acuity environment.
• Administer oxygen and other respiratory therapies as prescribed.
• Perform diagnostic testing and maintain patient records.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop treatment plans.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding respiratory health.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Active NBRC certification and BLS certification required at the time of submission.
• Current Ohio RRT license must be in hand.
• Strong patient care assessment and intervention skills.
