Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts: Mids 4x12's from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM; no on-call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while adhering to best practices and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients in need.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient conditions.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using electronic medical records (EMR).
• Adhere to hospital policies and protocols while ensuring quality of care.
• Float to other units as required based on staffing needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license in the state of Indiana.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC), and NIHSS.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting.
