Nights 4x12s, 7 PM - 7 AM; no on-call requirements.

Job Description

The Travel RN will provide essential care in the Emergency Department, monitoring patients and executing treatment plans in a fast-paced environment. The role demands a strong commitment to safety and assessment while working collaboratively with hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and develop care plans for patients in the Emergency Department.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN state licensure.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC), and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically Cerner.
