Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Assignment Duration

This is an 8 to 12-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts, 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30). Weekends as needed. May float as needed at other facilities.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 2 years of experience. The candidate must hold an active Ohio RRT license, NBRC, and BLS certifications at the time of submission. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and a commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders.
• Assess and document patient responses to therapy.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding respiratory care.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Active Ohio RRT license required.
• Current NBRC and BLS certifications, both required to be in hand at the time of submission.
• Two references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the respiratory specialty are required.
