Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Stepdown Unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong telemetry and progressive care experience, particularly in managing patients with various cardiac conditions. This role requires expertise in administering titratable cardiac IV medications and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes as necessary.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per protocol.
• Assist with bedside procedures such as cardioversion.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have experience in stepdown or progressive care nursing.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Experience with cardiac IV medications such as nitroglycerine and amiodarone.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Preferred: Experience with prostacyclins and relief charge nursing.
