Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM with rotation weekends and flexibility to meet unit needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with telemetry experience to join our Neuro Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess a commitment to high-quality patient care and have experience in managing neurological and cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry monitoring and assessment for patients.
• Manage patient care plans and document clinical information accurately.
• Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Float to other units as needed per floating policy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses are not accepted).
• 2+ years of hospital experience, specifically in telemetry.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with neurological disorders, including stroke and seizures is preferred.
• Knowledge of Meditech documentation system is an advantage.
