Registered Nurse - CVICU

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with 36 hours scheduled and a guaranteed 24 hours. Potential for on-call shifts.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide critical care to patients in the Cardio-Vascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This role requires the ability to float to Baywood and Heart ICU and PCUs as needed. Candidates must have flexibility with locations and shifts to secure placement quickly.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide direct patient care.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care.
• Float as necessary to other units as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of CVICU experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
• Active Life Support certifications (BLS, ACLS) from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No disciplinary actions on state nursing license.
• Driver's license required for residency verification.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
