CVICU Registered Nurse

Schedule

7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a total of 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed. Potential for on-call duties.

Job Description

As a CVICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Vascular Intensive Care Unit. You will float between Baywood, Heart ICU, and PCUs, ensuring the safety and well-being of critical patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and manage treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and vital signs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Utilize critical thinking to assess and respond to patient needs effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months CVICU experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• Active nursing license with no hits on the state license to practice.
• Driver’s license to verify residency.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
