Inpatient Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, working three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including four weekend shifts within six weeks.

Job Description

The Inpatient Rehab RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in an accredited inpatient rehabilitation unit. The RN will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to promote recovery in patients primarily with neurological diagnoses, amputations, debility from medical conditions, orthopedic fractures, and other major traumas.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to patients during their rehabilitation process.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient-centered care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress, and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare protocols and standards.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• One year of nursing experience is required; additional experience is preferred.
• Active NC or compact RN license is mandatory.
• BLS certification is required.
• Quality Indicator (QI) credentialing is required.
