Critical Care Nurse - CVICU

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours scheduled, 24 hours guaranteed.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our team in the CVICU. The ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to float to Baywood and Heart ICU and PCUs as needed. Potential on-call duties may also be required. It is essential that all candidates are Arizona residents for this assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and nursing standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 24 months of CVICU experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Active Life Support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (BLS and ACLS).
• No hits on the state license to practice.
• Driver's license required to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
