Registered Nurse - Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) & Alternate Level of Care Unit (ALC)

Schedule

Night Shift: 12-hour rotations (7 PM - 7 AM / 7 AM - 7 PM) with options for 36 and 48 hours per week. Must work 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Holiday work is also required during the contract.

Job Description

This position is within the West 4 Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) & Alternate Level of Care Unit (ALC) comprising 36 beds. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to elderly patients in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care to a diverse population of elderly patients.
• Administer medications and perform essential nursing duties as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
• Monitor and assess patients' health status, reporting any changes to the medical team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EPIC).

Required Experience & Certifications

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute med-surg/tele nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license and AHA BLS certification are mandatory.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
