Registered Nurse - Med/Tele

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a 16-week contract in the Med/Tele unit, specializing in Complex Care. This position requires a commitment to patient care and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

This position will be on a night shift schedule, working 12 hours from 7 PM to 7 AM. Candidates can choose between 36 or 48 hours per week, which includes 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Med/Tele unit, monitoring vital signs and administering medications as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Float to other units as required and maintain flexibility according to the facility's needs.
• Fulfill requirements for charge duties when necessary, and participate in training if needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
