Registered Nurse - Post Procedure

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Two shifts available:

• Days: 12-hour shifts - 7 am to 7 pm
• Nights: 12-hour shifts - 7 pm to 7 am

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the care of patients who require post-procedure level of care. This includes patients who have undergone cardiac or interventional procedures and are classified as Med/Tele Status.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients after cardiac or interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and continuous medical needs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of 1-year critical care or cardiac experience.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
• Current Basic Life Support certification (BLS) from the American Heart Association ONLY.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) for healthcare providers from the American Heart Association ONLY.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Certification in Nursing or other professional certifications recognized by the Magnet Association.
• 1-2 years of additional critical care or cardiac experience.
