Registered Nurse - Comprehensive Medical Unit

Schedule

Day shift with every other weekend required. This position will require 36 hours per week commitment, with no call requirement.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will primarily work on the 3 West Comprehensive Medical Unit and may occasionally float between various Med-Surg units such as Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation. This role requires a high level of proficiency in Epic EMR, which is essential for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Comprehensive Medical Unit and Med-Surg units.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown nursing experience.
• Proficient in Epic EMR; proficiency will be assessed on the first day of work.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
