Job Description

The Physical Therapist evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. Responsible for delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring effective return to community activities. The role also includes educating patients, families, and colleagues, along with performing various professional duties associated with patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop and update treatment plans focusing on timely patient discharge.
• Document medical records accurately and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Participate in student education programs as assigned and provide appropriate supervision.
• Create and pursue a professional development plan in collaboration with clinical management.
• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives and contribute feedback for maximizing outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active State licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
