Day Shift: Tuesday - Saturday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Weekend coverage is required.

Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work in a level II trauma center with a focus on standard mobility and activities of daily living (ADL). The role involves evaluating and treating patients with a variety of acute conditions, including complex trauma and neurological cases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Provide therapy interventions focusing on mobility and daily living skills.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EMR system (Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Texas.
• Experience in acute care settings, including clinical rotations during schooling.
• Preferred experience with complex trauma and neuro patients.
