Occupational Therapist - Acute Rehabilitation

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our acute rehabilitation team. This role involves providing specialized treatment to patients recovering from severe injuries or illnesses, focusing on maximizing their health, function, and quality of life through tailored rehabilitation programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and families about rehabilitation processes and techniques.

Schedule

This position is a full-time role with a shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Location

Central Texas

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Occupational Therapist License.
• BLS certification.
• Preferred 1 year of experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Basic computer knowledge and effective communication skills in English.
