Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Night shift from 6 PM to 6 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization while providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating teaching plans, and effectively managing pain. The RN will ensure a patient-centered approach by addressing psychosocial, cultural, and religious needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments on patients, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
• Revise standard care plans based on patient responses and evaluate effectiveness daily.
• Formulate and evaluate teaching plans involving family members as appropriate.
• Utilize and reassess pain management techniques; educate patients and families accordingly.
• Assist physicians with procedures and demonstrate technical and manual skills.
• Provide care tailored to patients' conditions and ages.
• Maintain communication with medical staff, administration, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure documentation meets current standards and policies.
• Coordinate and supervise patient care within licensure boundaries.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active Registered Nurse license required. Experience in a similar role highly preferred.
