Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule

This position requires a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) will provide total patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role is suited for an individual with at least one year of experience in emergency services. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing nursing plans, and ensuring the highest standards of care through effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Assess and monitor patients' conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
• Collaborate with medical staff in developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required before start date.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required within 90 days of start.
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department experience.
