Night shifts (3x12 hours) from 19:00 to 07:30, including every other weekend (Friday/Saturday).

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist with expertise in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to critically ill pediatric patients, ensuring optimal treatment and support for both neonates and infants.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage ventilator support for pediatric patients.
• Perform blood gas collection and analysis.
• Administer BiPAP and high-flow therapy.
• Conduct medication administration under supervision.
• Respond to code situations and participate in emergency patient transport.
• Perform chest physiotherapy as required.
• Utilize equipment such as Servo-I, Servo-U, and V60 BiPAP.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in PICU and NICU settings.
• Active New Jersey respiratory therapy license required.
• BLS, NBRC, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required (can be obtained onsite).
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
