Schedule

Day shifts with some night shifts, 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM (nights would be 1 week out of every 6). Weekends required.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist provides assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory disorders under licensed medical direction. The role includes administering therapeutic respiratory care procedures in accordance with hospital and department policies. This position also involves completing necessary documentation to ensure departmental effectiveness and providing education to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Administer therapeutic respiratory care procedures according to hospital and department policies.
• Complete documentation for monitoring and ensuring departmental effectiveness, including charting and billing.
• Perform diagnostic respiratory procedures as required.
• Provide instruction to patients and other healthcare team members as needed.
• Execute other duties as assigned or required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Pennsylvania Respiratory Care License via Board of Medicine or Board of Osteopathic Medicine.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentials required.
