Registered Nurse - NOC Shift (19:00 - 07:30)

3 × 12 hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating the care for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN must be knowledgeable about principles, theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN will collaborate with patients, their families, professional peers, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure individualized patient care. The RN will also direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care in alignment with the standards of nursing practice and departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care based on nursing principles and practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide individualized patient care.
• Direct nursing support staff in patient care activities.
• Adhere to administrative and departmental policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• 1 year of experience in area of clinical specialty (preferred).
• Current PA Registered Nurse License (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Multi-State Compact RN License (required).
