Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

This position requires night shifts, specifically 12-hour shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to critically ill newborns, manage patient care effectively, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and changes in health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide support and education to families regarding their child's care and health.
• Utilize appropriate equipment and technology to monitor and assess the condition of neonates.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Experience in a level 3 NICU is preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
