Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Schedule

This position is currently on an 8-hour day shift schedule, transitioning to 4x10's. Call coverage is required at least every third night and every third weekend.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will be responsible for circulating, patient preparation, and sedation in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working alongside Radiologic Technologists and assisting with a variety of cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and prepare patients in the catheterization lab.
• Administer sedation and manage patient needs during procedures.
• Assist physicians by documenting pre and post-procedure information.
• Collaborate with a team of two RNs and two RAD techs in a 3-room lab setup.

Required Experience / Certifications

• A minimum of 1 year of cath lab experience is required; prior travel experience is highly preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
