Registered Nurse (RN) - NOC Shift

NOC (19:00 – 07:30) - 3 × 12 hr shifts per week

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, implements, and evaluates care needed by assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN is knowledgeable about principles, theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice. Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with patients, their family members or significant others, professional peers, and other members of the healthcare team to individualize patient care. The RN directs nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to the standards of nursing practice, as well as administrative and departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and collaborates with healthcare team members for effective care delivery.
• Implements and evaluates care plans tailored to individual patient circumstances.
• Directs nursing support staff in patient care activities.
• Maintains compliance with administrative and departmental policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Required
• Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
• 1 year of experience in area of clinical specialty - Preferred
• PA Registered Nurse License - Required
• Multi State Compact RN License - Required
• Basic Life Support Certification - Required
