X-Ray Technician

Schedule

This position involves a 4x10-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with Thursdays as a day off. Flexibility with shifts is required to ensure efficient coverage in the radiology department and operating room.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technician will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures using x-ray equipment, including the C arm, to produce diagnostic images. The role requires a high level of competency in the use of radiological equipment and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Selecting and operating radiologic equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Ensuring the safety of patients and staff by following established protocols.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation for each procedure performed.
• Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current X-Ray Technician licensure and certification.
• Competence in using the C arm.
• Compliance with health requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination and health history documentation.
